SYNOPSIS                     

Hansjörg Stähli (Bruno Cathomas) is a garbage inspector in a picturesque small town who meticulously guards the law and enforces it upon other people. He is looking for an unknown Litterer who has been illegally dumping garbage bags all over town for weeks. Privately Hansjörg is an introvert Person with a secret crush on the 
waitress Lily Frei (Johanna Bantzer). He would never dare to confess his feelings for her.

Hansjörg's quiet life changes completely, when he discovers that the secret Litterer who's been troubling him for weeks is in fact Lily's daughter Emma (Luna Dutli). Out of love for her mother he lets the girl go which causes her relieved mother Lily to smile at him for the first time. Encouraged by her attention, the garbage inspector starts to court Lily but without success. What he doesn't know is, Emma started littering from necessity. Her mother Lily is a Messie, hoarding tons of garbage and junk in her apartment. Hansjörg can never find out.
